NORFOLK

  • NORFOLK BROADS

One of the most famous parts of Norfolk is the broads!

The broads is amazing and there are several camp sites dotted around where you can stay.  Hire a boat out for the day, have lots of fun and lookout for the ice-cream boat, you can't miss it when sailing along! There's the lovely little village of Wroxham where the majority of boats can be hired, plus plenty of shops and restaurants.

  • HUNSTANTON

We go there regularly as it's a 30 minute drive from us.  Our kids love a beach day, but here's a little secret, we often go there towards the end of the day when everyone is going home.  Why?  The sunsets there are amazing and eating fish & chips, ice-cream on the sea front can't be beaten.  When the kids get bored, there's a funfair there as well.  If you go during the day, go out on the Sea Monster or go further out and see some seals and even dolphins and whales if you're lucky!

  • WELLS-NEXT-THE-SEA

This has to be one of our favourite places in Norfolk. We love it there!

A beautiful small fishing village and amazing sandy beaches. We often stay in the local campsite which is peaceful and beautiful and only a few minutes from the glorious sandy beach.

The village itself is a 1 mile walk up the road following the harbour (yes it's a long walk, but worth it!), shame the miniature train has been stopped, where you can explore this village and go crabbing off the harbour. Our kids absolutely love this.
