SECURITY DEPOSITS
Paying a security deposit is required on the day of vehicle collection (this is as per our insurers terms) and this covers any costs such as damages, theft of vehicle etc. This deposit is a hold against your nominated credit/debit card (same as hotels), where we pre-authorise this amount, we don't take the money (unless there are damages or losses) and we release the hold within 7 days of the return of the vehicle. We're aware some banks do not allow pre-authorisation, so please check with them first as we will take take this sum of money and refund it (subject to the above) on return of the vehicle.

CONTRACT BREACHES
Contract breaches are fines which are taken from a customer’s security deposit upon the return and inspection of the vehicle.

Standard return time is by 11:30am

EQUIPMENT HIRE
We will offer additional extras which are chargeable per night. These charges do not apply to all vehicles as some items are fitted as standard.

- Portable Shower (includes pop-up tent): £1.00

- Drivers must be between 30 and 79 years old
- Drivers must have held a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
- Drivers must have no more than 6 points on their licence
- No more than 1 insurance claim in the last 3 years
- Only the named drivers can drive the vehicle
- All vehicles are fitted with trackers and a dashcam
- Vehicles can only be driven in the UK

- Up to 2 well behaved pets can join your adventure!
- No smoking or vaping
- All vehicles must be treated with respect
- Any damages or loss of Norseman Explore equipment will be taken out of the security deposit
- Fine system in place if rules are broken eg. smoking/vaping in vehicle is a £200 fine
- Loss of personal possessions are not covered by Norseman Explore
