Norfolk Broads

One of the most famous parts of Norfolk is the broads!  The broads is amazing and there are several camp sites dotted around where you can stay.  Hire a boat out for the day, have lots of fun and lookout for the ice-cream boat, you can't miss it when sailing. along! There's the lovely little village of Wroxham where the majority of boats can be hired, plus plenty of shops and restaurants.

Other places in the area that we love, Wroxham Barns where this is a beautiful and great place for everyone. You can camp there, there's boutique shops, a small farm and a little fun fair for the kids!

Just down the road is BeWILDerwood, which is a lovely magical adventure for the kids in a huge forest, with treehouses, slides, craft making etc.  It's an amazing day out that your kids will never forget

Hunstanton

We go there regularly as it's a 30 minute drive from us.  Our kids love a beach day, but here's a little secret, we often go there towards the end of the day when everyone is going home.  Why?  The sunsets there are amazing and eating fish & chips, ice-cream on the sea front can't be beaten.  When the kids get bored, there's a funfair there as well.  If you go during the day, go out on the Sea Monster or go further out and see some seals and even dolphins and whales if you're lucky!

Hunstanton also offers free open air cinema nights, rock-up with your chairs, blankets, food and drink (alcohol is allowed!) or go to the annual soap box derby they hold!

Wells-next-the-Sea

This has to be one of our favourite places in Norfolk.  We love it there!  A beautiful small fishing village and amazing sandy beaches!  We often stay in the local campsite which is peaceful and beautiful and only a few minutes from the glorious sandy beach.  The village itself is a 1 mile walk up the road following the harbour (yes it's a long walk, but worth it!), shame the miniature train has been stopped, where you can explore this village and go crabbing off the harbour.  The kids absolutely love this.  There's an 120 year old cargo boat called the Albatros that you have to go to and enjoy some food and drink and even go crabbing off the side of it!

Isle of Wight

This brings back memories of all our childhoods with school trips there.  We've been lots of times with our children and the whole experience for them is so exciting, especially driving onto a boat!  The Isle of Wight has so much to do for everyone form the sandy beaches of Shanklin and Sandown to Blackgang Chine, The Needles, Robin Hill and so much more.  It's one of the rare places we would love to move to!

Scotland

Well, what can we say about Scotland.  An amazing picturesque place.  There's just so much to cover, Loch Ness, North Coastal Route (NCR500), Ben Nevis, more lochs, the cities, the villages.  You can't get bored and this is where a campervan or motorhome is ideal so you can explore it all!
